Gate of San Andrés

11th-13th centuries

It is round as Toro’s walled enclosure is and was built with mortar of lime and pebbles. Have been preserved the doorways called “San Andrés” and “Santiago”.

There were 2 walled enclosures due to population increase: the first was built during the Romanesque period and the second in the 14th century.
