12th century
The church of Santo Sepulcro (Holy Sepulchre) is located in the Plaza Mayor of Toro. Its style is Romanesque-Mudejar and has three naves with semicircular chapels and a tower at the foot, although nowadays has been much altered. The south aisle is built of plain brick with masonry parts.
Outside, is worth mentioning the gable, crossed by double arches.
Inside, can be noticed the existence of pointed arches. One of them has triple archivolt and separates the naves. There are entrance arches to the chapels and apse cylinders.
It belonged to the Order of the Holy Sepulchre until the 15th century and later belonged to the Order of Malta.
The access is free of charge but there are neither visiting hours nor guided tours.
The temple can be visited only during mass celebrations.
