12th century
This Romanesque church is located in the area called "Barrios Bajos", which was “Puebla del Valle” area time ago.
Its plant is characterized by an excessive length compared to its width despite its northern side has a narrow nave which is separated from the main one by two semicircular arches on pillars. The main nave was renovated with a main chapel which has semi-hexagonal head part and straight section with a Gothic vault.
The exterior is ended with pyramid-shaped corbels. In the southern wall, are partially hidden by the old parsonage remains of the previous portico supports and the simple doorway decorated with cornice typical of Zamora.
The access is free of charge but there are neither visiting hours nor guided tours.
The temple can be visited only during mass celebrations.
