Church of La Natividad de Nuestra Señora

13th century

This church was built with a single nave and it has square head, belfry, sacristies and wall structures facing north.

The nave has preserved the Romanesque framework, although the southern side was renovated to build a modern doorway. In the northern side can be seen the Romanesque nave much better because it has preserved full eaves. They are composed of 25 nacelle corbels and fillet and chamfered cornice. The belfry is topped by chamfered line, followed by large solid body finished in deep chamfers, to give way to a narrower body.

Inside, at the head part can be seen Romanesque remains as a nacelle corbel in the sacristy and some corbels of nacelle in the wall structures.

OPENING HOURS AND VISITS

The access is free of charge but there are neither visiting hours nor guided tours. 

The temple can be visited only during mass celebrations.
